Now kök begins again, and we have lots to engage with. This Spring we started to look at the role of plants in our well-being, particularly interested in plants that have healing or medicinal power. There is already much knowledge among k.ö.k’s collective and we will continue to investigate this during the Autumn. On Saturday we visit Rosendahl’s garden on Djurgården to learn about how they work with growing and farming vegetables and herbs, and in August we visited Fahima Alnabulsi ‘s allotment in Järva.
We will have a Japanese tea ceremony, so keep your eyes open for that.
And we continue to consider practices of radical care and how we develop caring knowledge and practices together. We plan to meet other organisations and groups working on this. The art collective Ruangrupa will come to kök in October and to hold a workshop with us.
We will also start a blog here on the website where you can follow our work and thoughts.
And of course we continue to cook together.
